Dear Headteacher,

I am writing to you about my friend Claire. In my opinion, true friendship means supporting each other's talents and being there for one another in difficult times. Claire and I met three years ago in the art club, and we have been very close friends ever since.

Claire has a calm and creative personality; she always manages to paint from different perspectives. She is also very hard-working and spends most of her free time practising her art.

Claire taking part in the national art competition on behalf of our school would both allow her to showcase her talent and make a great contribution to the recognition of our school's artistic achievements. For this reason, I would kindly ask you to support her participation.

Hi Hugo,

I'm happy to tell you about the bus transport here. Buses run very frequently in the city and you can easily get almost anywhere; most of the stops also have screens showing arrival times.

As for the tickets, the prices are quite reasonable. You can buy them from the driver, from ticket machines or through the phone app. I usually use my travel card, because it works out cheaper.

Travelling by bus has lots of advantages. You avoid the stress of driving in traffic, and you can sit back comfortably and watch the view along the way.

Last week I gave up my seat to an elderly lady on the bus, and she told me all about the city during the journey. It was a really enjoyable trip!
